A Willful Woman…

Thoughts about books from a romance addict.

Indecent Experiment by Megan Hart

on May 1, 2014

This may be the best “Spice Brief” I’ve ever read. It brought to mind the recent “strangers kissing” video, though it pre-dates it, and if the possibilities in that video intrigued you, you should definitely check this out. The story is about two broke grad students who sign up for an extremely well-paid psychology experiment about sexual chemistry. Each is quite surprised to find themselves with someone not at all their physical type, but as they progress from holding hands for one full evening, to hugging, to kissing, heat  builds explosively between them. They also really get to know each other, and make discoveries about themselves. The building tension makes for a very hot story, and the romantic element is far more believable than usual in such a short read. (31 pages of text on my Nook.)

I don’t think I’ve read this one. Must get hold of it.

Got something to say?

Miss Bates Reads Romance

Miss Bates is Austen's loquacious spinster in Emma. No doubt Miss Bates read romances ... here's what she would've thought of them.
